Dear Fred,
Our first InfoAge Tea and Tour with the League of Women Voters was a success!
My thanks to you for all of your work with the planning and implementing as well as with the tour itself! I think that you now have a fan club!!
My thanks also to Judy Warren who worked so hard to clean the cups, plates, and tablecloths and set up the tables; to Bob Purcelli for bringing the delicious macaroons and lemon squares and helping us set the tables; to John Cervini for helping with the tour and being available for questions; to Ray Chase and Marcia Simkin for the delightful radio centerpieces and radio teapots and cookie jars (They were a great hit with the ladies!); to Joe Gileerti for the radio cookies; to Terry Lieb for the tea bags; to Mike Golub for creating the lovely room in which the tea was held; to Claire French for joining us (She's a LWV member, too!), and my friend Suzi Shrott who baked the mini cupcakes and helped me bring all of the extras that we needed.
All of the ladies were impressed with InfoAge. They had never heard of it prior to our event, but now they said that they will return with friends and family.
With all good wishes,
Barbara
PS We sold two books.
