[NJARC] Radio Repair

Friends,

I have a number of old radios that work less and less well all of
the time. The was a guy in Syracuse New York who would get them working
as the problems were often simple, i.e. dry capacitors , dirty switches
or dead tubes. He is not available any longer.

What I am trying to do is find some one who is capable and
interested in repairing old tube radios. I contacted this club and was
advised to attend a radio repair clinic which I made arrangements for
but it was canceled and I don't see another on the calendar.

If I have to learn radio repair I will. If you have any
suggestions where I could do this I would appreciate hearing from you.
In the mean time I would like to get these sets operational sometime soon.

Any advice would be most appreciated. There aren't many
radiophiles here in Cape May

Thanks again,

Thomas Schorr
