Hi All:

I would like to thank you for looking at my Zenith transoceanic R7000-2 and Peter who worked on the radio.
I was able to get the steel balls back in their place for the detent to work right. that stiffness that you felt
when rotating the band switch was caused by a large tooth on the band drum.
Once the detent was pushed into place the stiffness went away.

The next problem is to figure out what is first point on the twelve point rotary switch,
and to get the gear teeth on band drum coordinated with the gear on the detent rotary?
I am assuming that the marked number 1 on the corner of the rotary switch
near the solder pins is for the position number one of the rotary wafer switch.
If this is the first position, then all I have to do is line up the switch and drum to be in the position for the LW band?

Thank You:
Sandy Somers WA2JVK
