Hi,

My dad sent me an interesting article from his local paper(via AP) about
old Bell (as in Alexander) recordings resuscitated with optical methods.
The particularly cool thing was that some of them were even recorded with
optical methods on glass disks. Imagine that. There is also a metal
recording. I love metal. If you google early bell audio
recordings you get a bunch of non-redundant hits.

My dad says my grandfather told him he messed around with some old Bell
recordings at Victor Talking Machine as part of a project to devise sound
for movies. Would have been 1930s in Camden.
