Well, perhaps I'm bragging just a little.  However, I'm sure there's 
older stuff than that floating around in our various collections.  The 
problem is most of it is being used as doorstops or squirreled away 
waiting to be sorted out with the owners estate.  Let's listen to these 
treasures.  Silent radios are an abomination!

Yes, you might have to make a "hookup."  Wire that Clapp-Eastham loose 
coupler to that Murdock variable condensor and that Wireless Specialty 
Apparatus detector stand, add a pair of Baldys, and you should be in 
business.  (I don't have any of that stuff, BTW.)
