Members:
We have a new activity at our Wednesday work days at the RTM Museum at infoAge. We have been joined by students from the Wall Township High School Science club who have volunteered to help us build "Exploratorium" type science exhibits to eventually significantly expand the "hands-on" portion of our museum. These are smart kids who will amplify the work that we can do. InfoAge will pay for moderate expenses for building these displays such as wood and hardware but some of the items that we need could very well come from your junk boxes or excess equipment that you may have laying around. Your significant others may appreciate your donation of stuff from your collection as well. Items that we could use right now:
1. A zero center micoammeter, 50 or 100 uamp full scale. Usual about 3" diameter panel meter, must be zero center.
2. Metal case for the above. Common metal lab bench enclosure for a single meter, they are about 4 or 5 inches per side, slant front. Color, condition not important, we'll clean it up and paint it.
3. Two mono amps or a stereo amp at about 20 watts. Tube or solid state (of course tubes are better, we all know that), PA amps are OK, it's not going to be hi-fi. Hopefully in good working shape.
We also need some quite high priced items but we're going to try to hit up the deep pockets guys for these items but will keep you advised.
That's all for now but we may be back for more bits and pieces.
Ray
