[NJARC] source for military surplus?

All,

I am contemplating being a Ghostbuster for Halloweeen.  As usual though I have gotten myself involved in too many activities and already have enough projects started, so am not sure if I will end up doing this or not.   Regardless, the main frame of a Ghostbusters' Proton Pack is a military ALICE pack frame.  Does anybody know of a good, affordable source of these?  I can look online like anybody else, but thought some of you "longer than I" residents of NJ might know of a good place to find Military Surplus gear.  (Especially since the main "Uniform" is an Air Force Flight Suit)  Any advice is appreciated.
