In case any of you collectors were thinking of having any of your CRTs
rebuilt, now would be the time.
Hawkeye Picture Tube Manufacturing will be shutting down in July. After
that, the only place to have collector CRTs rebuilt will be at RACS in
France and shipping across the Atlantic for all but the most valuable
tubes will probably be a deal-killer.
The entire Hawkeye setup is going to be donated to the Early Television
Museum and there is hope that CRT rebuilding can be performed there as a
nonprofit operation servicing the collector community, but it's currently
far from certain that this will actually work out.

So if you've got any tubes that need fixin', it's "Last Call."
