HI John et al--

I remember closely watching an eBay auction for a truly "Museum Quality" theramin about 6 years ago, I think it was.  I was going to bid on it myself until, in the last few minutes, the price skyrocketed at the  speed of light.  I think it finally went for about $50k.  I remember, at one point, the price jumped by over $12,000 between my computer's screen refreshes!  It was absolutely amazing..the most phenominal eBay race I could ever have imagined!  Lucky for the winner that the time finally ran out and ended it all.  I'm sure it could have gone much further too.
