I just passed by Radio Shack and they do indeed sell 1 pound rolls of .062 diameter solder for............drum roll please........ $12.99, still a great deal. John Tyminski's local Radio Shack might be selling it at a lower price.
PS: John T, I saw the picture you emailed me of your solder, looks like you photo shopped the 1lb. print on the roll.

If so, I too am (pleasantly) surprised that your local Radio Shaft has one pound
rolls of solder.
Or "solder wire" as us S. Jersey rednecks used to call it. ;-)
