[NJARC] connecting batteries in series

Hi Victor,
I was going to suggest the same thing Watt said, but you can cut down the 4 Cell AA holder from radio shack to 3 batteries, rewire that connection, then wire it into the radio.

Just my 2 cents...

INSTEAD OF SOLDERING YOU MAY WANT TO CONSIDER BUYING A 4 CELL "AA" PLASTIC BATTERY HOLDER WHICH ARE READILY AVAILABLE.NICKEL MH BATTERIES ARE 1.2 VOLTS SO YOU WOULD NEED FOUR. ALSO I WOULD SUGGEST USING A SERIES RESISTOR TO BRING THE VOLTAGE DOWN TO 4.2 VOLTS OTHERWISE THOSE FILAMENTS ARE NOT GOING TO LAST.FINDING REPLACEMENT TUBES COULD BE A PROBLEM.
