[NJARC] next friday meeting schedule (Mike Feher)

Well, in spite of what I said earlier, I have to respond to this. The reason
being is that all of John's claims are bunch of lies. Now it becomes he said
this and I said that.

John's first statement is that he never sold anything to me. That is totally
false. As I mentioned previously, I did buy a one tube receiver from him,
using a WE 215 peanut tube for $400 and he specifically brought it to my
house. Over the years I also did buy some miscellaneous items from John at
various meets. I just looked in my Quicken files and on 8/23/99, I wrote a
check to John for $430, the check number being 3602. I bet I can find the
cancelled check. It clearly states what the purchase was for.

The estate was never a take all deal, and Pearl agreed on that. John was
never there when Pearl and I talked. Sadly, Pearl passed away prior to me
removing everything, and, after that I was dealing with her nice, Kim, who
lived next door. She had no problem with me leaving the teletype machines
behind. The tools Pearl wanted to keep, and so did the niece, as she said
her live-in boy friend, who worked for UPS would like them. So, they stayed.

You are also incorrect about the radio you were interested in 2 years ago.
You did offer me $1000 for it and I turned it down saying that I also like
it and wanted to keep it. I did offer to loan it to you.

John knows the reason I had to sell my choice items, it is not bragging, I
do not have any of that money, I do not have any savings, I was just stating
facts. It was not easy for me to let go of those items that I loved and
cherished so long. I was just attempting to put things in perspective. There
was a time when John used to confide in me, and, tell me how bad everyone
else was to deal with.

Al Klase also facilitated a deal for me for a beat up Marconi receiver for
which I had to pay $5000. I told Al that if the deal goes through I would
reward him for it. About 6 months later, when the deal was finally
consummated, I gave Al an HRO-500 for free. Am I such a bad guy as I am
being made out to be. I have just about always given people a lot of extra
stuff for nothing.

All of this nonsense because I semi-jokingly offered to have NJARC members
come over prior to the auction to have some good auction material. Sad.
Regards - Mike

This is my final comment on this!

I never sold anything to Mike. I never bought anything from Mike. I
did offer to buy one key and received it as a gift from Mike. That
key had been awarded to a dear friend, a common key (worth less than
$50.) on an engraved base. Mike had purchased a huge estate from the
SK's widow, which I facilitated for her. I received nothing from the
family, nor did I ask for anything from them. I did have to
intervene for the widow to ask Mike to removed all of which he
bought. He did not and left a mess for the family to clean up.

And yes I did offer to purchase one rig from his cellar and was told,
"you don't have enough money to buy that." No price was quoted, so I
left after wasting a Saturday going there.

I worked in a boardwalk store as a teenager and saw the salesmen
there use the same ploy, insult the customer into buying something
ridiculously expensive just to prove they can afford it. It worked
for them sometimes. Then, like Mike, they would brag about how much
they sold the pile of junk for.

No, I'm not mad. But I won't fall into his trap again. I just won't
go there.

73, John
