Ahh, the old "it worked fine until I cleaned it up" story.

Just a couple of observations (from dumb mistakes I made in the past):

-- Looks like you may have "bumped" something while cleaning. Did you check for shorts? 

-- while cleaning, did you remove the tubes? Probably yes. Are they all back in their *correct* sockets?

You will soon learn what most of us have learned -- German radios work great and sound great but tend to be a PITA to work on.
