MY ADVICE IS DO NOT SEND IT OUT OF STATE TO THESE SO-CALLED FOREIGN RADIO REPAIR EXPERTS. A FRIEND OF MINE DID THAT WITH SEVERAL DIFFERENT EXPERTS WITH RESULTS TOO NUMEROUS TO EVEN START TO LIST.ONE CASE HE HAD TO GET THE POLICE INVOLED TO GET HIS RADIO BACK. WHEN HE RECEIVED IT THERE WERE CABINET PARTS EXCHANGED FOR HIS ORIGINAL GOOD ONES PLUS OTHER ITEMS.

Does anyone have experience with this radio?  I know nothing about FM or German radio, but I have a smoking issue with this one.  It worked fine until I cleaned it up (had lots and lots of dust in the chassis) and now when turning it on, I am smoking/burning a resistor. I cant find a schematic either. 

I could bring it to the swap meet Saturday if someone wants to look at it.  I would even leave it with someone to repair for a fee. It looks great and sounded great until today!
