Those two sites by Randy Cole and Neil McEwen are by far the best for information on bugs.

As in other collection areas, bugs, and Vibroplex in particular, have lots of general type items which range the gammit from very common to very very rare. And some of the rarest can be subtle forms of the common versions.?? I was actually surprised at the meet that three radio collectors came over to me to say they noticed those Vibroplex bugs and they all knew one was a lefty - which even on a common bug carries a value premium.

Other very good sources are Tom Perera's book and CD and for Vibroplex Bill Holly's Vibroplex Collectors Guide (not sure if it's still available) and Tom French's McElroy books for Mac bugs.

I,m not a member of NJARC but I do subscribe to their email list and
I saw your below post to the NJARC , and I thought you might like to see
the below links which provide much info about Vibroplex keys, and
telegraphy. Most likely, Pete will also furnish the same info. Have fun.

bug guru. Did you see the two Vibroplex bugs that Steve Sideroff had for sale?
(They both sold in the walk-around auction). I got the one *without* the famous
"bug" logo. (I think Al Klase got the other one).

little about Vibroplex bugs, but I couldn't resist. ;-)
