[NJARC] Travel Question!

Hi Everyone!
Sorry I can't make the meeting Friday- I have to pick my Mom up at the airport. She always plans these things with me in mind... lol...

I have a question for those who travel often by commercial aircraft- something I really try to avoid...

I have to go down to Ft Lauderdale, Fla. to pick up a car next month. I am planning to take a commercial hop down, and drive back, making this part of my vacation. I want, however, to take some of my favorite electronics with me: computer, Icom dual band transceiver(HT), satellite radio receiver, TOMTOM GPS receiver, power cords, antennas for each... Can anyone tell me if I will have any problem getting through security with them? All are operable(although the XM receiver needs power and something to play through to operate) so I can demonstrate them, or would they just x-ray them? Or should I expect problems?
