[NJARC] Fw: [From Your Hallicrafters Reflector] Re: HT-37 Question!

Hi Everyone-
I am forwarding this to ask if anyone could help me with the concept of replacing the Selenium Rectifier in the HT-37... It is of the little metal can type, not the flat stacked plate type. As the reply below says, the series resistor will need to be changed as well. I am still useless when figuring things beyond the original schematic. Any ideas what value resistor I should use, and the best recommendation for a silicon diode?

Thanks!
Scott
