[NJARC] Damage control Update !

Congrats John-
You now have a great spare parts supply for many radios! You can either ebay or otherwise sell all as parts sets- and make some capitol, or part them out for yourself, or repair them somehow!

I'd say the selling option is good- you can e-bay an old radio in pretty much any condition & make some money you can use for new sets to work on.

I am assuming the chassis themselves are in ok shape- usually the cases suffer, but the chassis are pretty bulletproof, unless really kerwhampered. I had a Blaupunkt receiver from the 1950s once a friend had given me after the closet it had been in collapsed. I glued the cabinet all back together(with pieces missing) taped the dial glass back together(again, with pieces missing) and gave it back to him after a checkout. Several years later, it is still working great as a garage radio...

Maybe you should post a list of the available chassis & damage to each radio to the NJARC list- might find people here who might be interested in them for rebuilds, parts, or something...

Scott
