Hi Scott,

What model # is that Dow-Key relay?? What tube does it use? You may be able to pull power from the transmitter instead.

Also, you need a decent high-impedance mike. That crystal mike you had was dead....that often happens with old crystal mikes. A D-104 would be good -- didn't you say you had one of those? Of course, it could be dead too. See what the HT-37 manual recommends.

Last but not least, that 60/40 475V can was running a little warm. Not hot, but a little warm. I recommend replacing those caps -- use it at your own risk!

I can hear my HT-37 whispering to me from the garage....fix me....

And *please* be careful around those unshielded 6146's....*lotta* juice there. ;-)
