[NJARC] Motorola Max Trac 800

Hi Folks,

A couple weekends ago I picked up three of these units and one 120VAC to 12 VDC power supply at a yard sale. Does anybody have any experience with these radios? Can they be converted for ham radio? I did find some info on the web, and some ebay listings -- they are *not* very valuable. ;-) 

I bought the whole lot because I wanted the power supply.

They appear to use an *external* speaker with a proprietary connector which is a PITA.
