[NJARC] LPs Never Went Out of Style

I just started getting back into vinyl over the past two years.  It is amazing how good records sound.  Even yard sale 45's (some that look like hell) are enjoyable with a good cleaning.  Haven't invested in the record cleaning machine yet, but I plan to.

I buy from eBay, yard sales, and Columbus Market with good results.  Princeton Record Exchange was packed this Saturday afternoon with people sorting through and buying vinyl.  Many were college age.  A store I like to go to is The Record Collector in Bordentown.  It's smaller but a little friendly-er in my experience.  They do a lot of great live shows on the weekends too.

There are plenty of LP's of all genera on Ebay and I find them at flea
markets all the time. The best place I've found for price vs. quality is
the Princeton Record Exchange - they have a website as well. I invested
about $600 into a decent VPI record cleaning machine which I purchased
from Acoustic Sounds, also on the web. The record cleaner can really
bring back the sound on these old LPs and saves the stylus as well. The
cleaning machine is worth the money and should be considered if you are
really getting back into vinyl.
