Those of you starting or administering non-profit organizations should invest the time and $29 that Princeton's annual Community Works event requires: www.princetoncommunityworks.org.
This non-profit confab hosted at Princeton University's Frist Student Center Monday January 25, 5:00 - 9:15 pm, provides two excellent seminars in a variety of topics relevant to all organizations in marketing, board development, volunteer management, websites, fundraising, etc. You'll also encounter hundreds of people from three state and all of New Jersey equally passionate and dedicated to their causes, some of which you may have in common, plus an excellent box dinner.
I found its events so useful while reviving the David Sarnoff Library with some efficiency that I've given back by participating in the planning and execution of CW the past three years.
You can register online through Wednesday or pay at the door. Please forward this endorsement as you think useful.
Cheers,
Alex
