I thought you might want to look at this?  CHRS = California 
Historical Radio Society

Here is the CHRS newsletter from California.  In reading it, you will 
discover that they are moving along nicely with their building and 
other projects.
There are some photos of a recent swap meet.
A story about an unusual Berkeley radio.
They also had a Christmas Party, but I didn't see a live Santa 
there.  I thought he was everywhere?  :-)  I'll have to do something 
about that next year!
There is one big difference with their club from our club though - no snow!
