I believe Wildcats were made at the GM Linden site. I have a book about 'Eastern Aircraft' - GM's name for the aircraft efforts.

Subj: What was made at GM plant
Dear Joe,
Since I can't get my messages on the reflector,I have to write to you
direct.GM built built the Grumman F4F fighter and Grumman
TBF torpedo bomber at the Ewing plant during the war.Once built, they were
tugged across a bridge to the airport and test flown
before being delivered overseas. The Brewsters were built in Dover Del.
