Hi Ray,

Regarding NJ companies:

According to my Dad, many Vineland-area clothing factories made uniforms during the war. I'll have to see if I can get the names of some companies. Most were started (and staffed by) Italian immigrants. Torsini was one. I believe all those companies are defunct now.

And don't forget Lionel (HQ was in NYC, but factory was in Irvington). They made code keys, relays, etc.

Regarding movies:

Woody Allen's "Radio Days" is a great flick in this regard.
