What???!!! How many Burrooughs 205's have survived intact? Probably about as many as there are Hallicrafters S-1's. Most tube computers like B205's, SAGE, etc. had long careers as Hollywood movie and TV props, long after their operating days ended. They were cut up and scattered to the four winds. Once in a great while, a few pieces still turn up at hamfests.

Perhaps in 1969 or '79 a vacuum-tube computer was just so much old junk. Today, it's something much, much more.

If I had a Hallicrafters S-1, I'd keep it in a safe! ;-)
