I rebuilt this Dynaco ST-70 a few months back for a customer and it
developed a static/cracking noise (like the dreaded silver mica
disease) on the left channel. My customer decided tube amps is not for
him and wants to sell it. I told him to send it back to me and I will
sell it for him after I fix it. One of the 82pf capacitors I installed
failed after 2 months. I replaced it and it is quiet and noise free.

Price is $425 firm, it needs nothing, every capacitor including the
quad electrolytic can, was replaced. The bias selenium rectifier was
replaced with a silicone diode and the RCA jacks were upgraded with
gold jacks. The cage is almost flawless. The chassis has the usual
pitting here and there and some scratches on the top. It will come with
a new quad of Electro-Harmonix EL34's and a new Sovtek 5AR4.

It comes with a 6 month warranty not including tubes or transformers.

I can bring it to the September meeting. Here is your chance to get
into tube audio... its in the rage now... :-)

Regards,
Sal Brisindi

PS: John R... I think you need another one or buy this one and sell
yours.... :-)
