Just wanted to mention to those who read QST that John Dilks has a pretty interesting article on Collins Radio Desks in the new issue. Never thought I'd read an article mainly about a desk that was interesting, but it was! I never realized they had such things for the radios. And it had a couple pics which are giving me ideas for MY ham shack!(once I get somewhere I can do something more than a flat top desk in an upstairs room! lol)

Say John- Open invite for you- Once I DO get the ham gear fully up & running(and I am quite close to a QSO- all basic equipment is functional now, thanks to a few people & great + friendly effort), if you are interested in going over a just about complete set of Hallicrafters 1960s gear, let me know! I'd really enjoy seeing my radios in one of your articles... By the way, I got the matching speaker for the HQ-100...
