[NJARC] How Radio Works, 1937

Actually, just after the war we had a '37 Chevy with a radio (notice the box
under the dash). The car had a metal top, if I remember correctly. The 
antenna
was  a whip on the left side right in front of the door hinges, and I 
don't think that I bent
the antenna, because I don't remember "not being able to sit down for a 
week"
like I would have had to if I had done something to it.

With a 6 volt battery, the car might not have started after running the 
radio.
