[NJARC] Wanted to Buy -- my Dream Transmitter

Hi Folks,

I know this is a real shot in the dark, but here goes:

Now that I am duly authorized by Uncle Sam and Uncle Charlie to operate a ham station, I would like to know if anyone has a Johnson 500 transmitter for sale. I'm *not* looking for a mint or near-mint "collector grade" or "museum grade" unit. I couldn't afford one, anyway. I would be very happy with a "fixer-upper" unit, as long as it is priced fairly.

If I can't get a Johnson 500, I would like to acquire a Johnson Thunderbolt amplifier. Same standards as above. I passed  up one of these years ago, and I regret it.

Have cash and lots of junk, oops, I mean merchandise, to trade.
