Hi folks,

My first post to this list.
I joined a while back to pick up some info on restoring my grandparents old radio..I havn't gotten to it ..but I will someday.

Anyway, one of my neighbors put out a big old console radio for the trash tonight.
I figured someone here might have an interest and be close enough to drive by.
It looked to be in ok shape. Case could use a little work. Inside looked complete.
The tag said it's a Delco R-131 Superheterodyne reciever. ( my best guess..it's a little faded )
The dial said something about international megahertz under the numbers.

The back was off and you could see the tubes inside and a very large speaker...maybe a 12 or 15 incher.
The case was about 4 feet high by 2 feet wide and looked ornate.
It looked kind of nice...but I just dont have room...my wife would kill me.

I was on my way to work...and had time for only a quick look..and it was dark....sorry for the sketchy details.

If anyone is in the neighborhood and wants to look it's on Lorelei drive in Howell...about the middle of the block...number 60 or so.
It's a fairly big piece...might need a station wagon or a pickup truck to take it.
It's right at the curb with some other furniture.

Again, sorry for the sketchy details...
