Hi John,

150 bucks plus 20 bucks postage and handling oughta do it. ;-)

But seriously, don't assume the eye is bad unless it's *very* dim. Just becuase it does *not* close on strong stations doesn't mean the tube is bad -- it usually means there are AVC issues in the set, a very common problem with sets that have not been recapped.

Even if it *is* dim, you may have B+ issues. What are you seeing? How does the tube behave? Have you tested it on a tube tester?
