Scott - Please call me on the telephone and we will go over things, and
perhaps even get on the aether. I have a very modest 2M setup, but perhaps
we can link through a common repeater.
The best thing to do at first is to listen and see how others perform ie:
How others initiate a CQ, etc. Repeater ettiquitte is different from calling
CQ on the HF bands, and visa-versa.
Looking forward to our chat, and especially a contact on the air!
Congradulations on earning your "ticket"; and very best regards to a
wonderful "aprofession" ofAmateur Radio!
