Hi Folks,
Yours truly passed the Technician and General exams today at the OMARC VE session at InfoAge. My thanks to Scott Roberts for recommending the practice tests on qrz.com, and to Scott and John Dilks, Joe Cro, Bob Bennett and others for encouraging and nudging me.
I was first licensed as WN2TPP (Novice class) in 1974. Then came KB2NYY (another Novice) in 1991. Do you notice a pattern here? Like a faraway comet or some kind of sunspot cycle, every 17 years I get a ham license.
;-)
I also joined the OMARC club today, while I was on a roll.
Now it's time to get an antenna up and get ON THE AIR! I wonder how long THAT will take?
I'm also going to start studying for my upgrade to Extra -- in 2025.
73 (now I can use that term!)
JR
