Hi John,

Excellent idea! I just happen to have the AC-1 manual here. And Al Klase is correct (as usual) -- one side of the NE-51 neon bulb is connected to the output, while the other side "floats" capacitively coupled to ground.

Marty, I'd be happy to scan this in for you, if you can't find it on the web.
