[NJARC] Cosmo Compo Radio?

  This weekend I was searching the new LIFE Magazine photo archive on Google mentioned by Alex in his email about history resources. A search for 'radio' turned up an interesting photo. It appears to be a prototype radio and the inventor is listed as Roberto Brenta at this link;

Searching Google for 'Roberto Brenta' I found a Radio-Craft article at this link;

  I have not heard of this Cosmo Compo radio before. Aside from prototypes does anyone know if this radio was ever produced?
