I also think you're going deaf. Steve T. must have said
$25, but you heard $275. Sometimes you gotta be in the right
place at the right time, with good ears. ;-)  That kind of
serendipity is the magic of an antique radio meet.
 
The 630 TV is one of those "I always wanted one"
items for me. But, man, are they BEASTS. I looked at an
excellent website about the 630 last night, and found that
they *don't* have intercarrier IF's. The picture and
sound are separate IF channels. Oh baby! No wonder the thing
has *30* tubes in it! (including *two* 5U4's!)
 
NOW I know why I find so many 6K6's in used flea market
boxes of tubes. The 630 uses *four* of them -- only one for
audio output.
