Tried to send this several times earlier in week but AOL must have
changed something. Trying again at last minute.
I will have several nice boatanchors at BARA in Bergen County this
Satuday (See www.bara.org). It is X 168 on Parkway,
SX 28 in very good physical condition, nearly all original with
original manual. Works weakly and needs the SX28 once-over. I am
willing to part with this to get it to a good home as it's been sitting
around too long here. You will be the 3rd owner and I have shack
photos of the original setting (w2NGN) $200.00 firm.
Collins 32V2 old buzzard transmitter. In very good/near excellent
condition. It does need some minor work however: replace SPST toggle
switch and replace 40meter mica loading HV cap (which I have with all
the other band spares included). This was on air for 10 years with me
and always received superb audio reports. 90 - 105W AM output
depending on band. Probably a new 4D32 would be a good thing. $450.00
firm.
Some misc. goodies as well including the metering panel from the famous
Hoffman station (John Dilks has one of the transmitters and key in his
museum) - station featured in a QST article a few years ago. 3 very
large spark era meters on panel. Also large matching network. Very cool
looking stuff. Inexpensive to good home.
Hope to see ya'lls there.
