Nick,

There may be something on the analog channels after the transition to digital, but it depends on how
the FCC apportions the spectrum.  From the FCC's webpage, there's no indication whether stations
will shift spectrum in the transition.  There is an intermediate step where stations will transmit
digital and analog versions of the same content.  The FCC claims that sound quality for AM and FM
digital are significantly improved as digital signals.  I expect that entrepreneurs will offer
D-to-A converters for all the legacy analog radios.  See
