In this day and age, I think that's inexcusable, AND bad marketing.
Although these look like some high-end radios and a catalog of them would
be a nice thing to have for it's own sake, production of a catalog in the
pre-Internet world meant that they had to charge a reasonable amount to
cover the costs of production and distribution. It was pretty simple: no
catalog = no information = no bids. Nowadays, the cost of producing a PDF
catalog is relatively low and there's little or cost associated with
distributing it. Unless they're hoping to use the catalog as a profit
center, I can't see how putting only ten photos online is going to help
make the auction a success!
