Hello out there,

Once again I'm going to miss the meeting, and auction, on account of an IEEE dinner. It's up to
Dave Sica to give the 411 on the Early Television convention. And once again my assistant Dorothy
Sadley will be representing Sarnoff Corporation in my place. She was very impressed that you were
all as good as gold last time in cleaning up and leaving before ten; keep it up, and please don't
drop the pants presser!

On Saturday the David Sarnoff Library will have a table at Super Science Weekend in Trenton on the
occasion of the reopening the New Jersey State Museum's main building and exhibits
(state.nj.us/state/museum/). I'll be manning it from 11 to 4, but could really use a running mate
for company and technically accessible explanations of wireless communications or electromagnetic
radiation, and, if possible, another hands-on activity that looks like it postdates 1920. My
hands-on exhibits consist of the portable Victrola that John Tyminski restored and the crystal set
that Al Klase refurbished and donated for events like this. We'll also have pencils and brochures
to give out to promote our field trip program, but the key is having stuff that kids can engage. If
you're interested in helping, please let me know.

Thanks,

Alex
