Just wanted to let everyone know that my latest orphan is now a player. The
tubes are 80,6A7,6D6,75, and a 41. The volume is impressive for a table set
(has a 8" speaker), and was able to even pick up stations on the shortwave
band 1.6-4.0 MC. I'm just flat impressed with the performance after
recapping/alignment. I'm going try to restore the cabinet in time for the
next "Martian Invasion" this October. If you want something that's a good
player with sensitivity/selectivity find one of these. I don't think you'll
be disappointed. Sorry Dick, I know you're a "Majestic" Man! Thanks again
for everyone's help.
