For the month of March the New Jersey Historical Society located in Newark is holding a series of Wednesday noon lunch presentations on the subject of Radio. March 5th they toured radio station WGBO in Newark. March 12th was a presentation by Fred Carl of InfoAge on NJ radio historical sites. On March 19 NJARC has been invited to do a presentation on the History of Radio and Broadcasting at their headquarters at 52 Park Place in Newark. If perchance you are in the area, you are invited to drop in. The New Jersy Historical Society puts on these "Lunch Times Are Past Times" programs for the benefit of those in the Newark area who wish to combine their lunch time with learning about history. The presentations, when at their home location, are held in the Historical Societies Dillon Auditorium at 12:15 to 1:00 PM, address listed above. Our presentation will include displays of vintage radios from our museum, Power Point images and audio "clips" of famous radio events played through these radios. Presenters are Harry Klancer, Al Klase & Ray Chase. It should be interesting. On the final Wednesday, the 26th, society members wil take a field trip to the Sarnoff Library hosted by Alex.
