Thanks Ray-
I've seen info about the stability issues, and have found a few
sites with info on how to keep them, eh, "out of the pink" shall
we say? ;) I am not intending to use it much more than
occasionally, mainly for WWII display events and such.(of course,
if it turns out to be a fun set, then I'll have to figure it out
then...)
As to the VT-4-Cs, while I am still looking for spares, my best
friend passed along to me a brand new in the boxes set of 4 of
them- 3 unopened! Only ones he had, or I'd have more... I still
need the VT-25 for the set, tho.
And, happily, I have a NOS dynamotor for it, as well! Same friend
:) Just have to clean the mud-wasp nest off the outside, and then
relubricate it. I am also considering a plate transformer setup
for power: just have to get the plans from another BC-375
operator...(The tubes, dynamotor & tuning units for the BC-375
all came from my buddy's Grandfather's estate- he was a ham back
to the 20's, and a Raytheon engineer. Went SK about 3 years ago)
