Hello Pete,
Many thanks for the good news regarding WCTC. I can most
likely receive that station at my home location in Washington Crossing,Pa,
where WMTR can be a stretch. I'm always on the lookout for more AM stations
that a music format.
Unfortunately, WHWH, 1350KC in Hopewell, NJ has changed it's format and
frequency, so we lost one musical AM'er. We did, however, pickup WHAT 1340
AM (Martini Lounge Radio) located in suburban Philadelphia that has a format
similar to the old WPEN (950KC) with Big Band/Sinatra/Tony Bennett, type of
oldies format.
The more local AM stations playing music, the better I say. Anything that
enables Marty Friedman, WB2BEW to listen to music on his AA5 while at his
work bench is alright with me!
Mod-U-Later,
Joe Cro N3IBX
