I found the schematic for my Philco Grandfather Clock 570 on Philco page 101 in Rider's Abridged Manual Vol I-V for Model 70, 70A, serials under B-22,000 & Model 570. 

Based on my limited knowledge of what AVC circuits look like, I see no evidence of AVC in the schematic.

So, NOW can you take the challenge?  :-)
