Hi Everybody - 

My Philco 570 Grandfather Clock/Radio restoration project has come to a temporary halt as I've discovered the primary on the RF transformer is open.    :-(

There's a Philco 70 110V DC chassis for sale on eBay (see 280195627920) - located on Long Island - within pickup range.  I was wondering if the RF/IF xfmrs in the DC radio could be used in the AC version?  Anyone know?  I wouldn't mind having the dial as well! 

If not, does anyone have a Philco 70 parts chassis they are willing to sell?  <:-)
