John -

When you were here Monday, you were ready to take that one tube display case
and it had several Tung Sol Tungar bulbs in it. I also have some NOS in
boxes, although for some reason it seems now the audio guys want them. I
believe there may have been some early amplifiers that used those as
rectifiers. Nice meeting you and your mom. Hope she is feeling better.
Regards - Mike

Hi Harry,

All very good points.

And you know what our museum needs? A Tung-Sol tube on
display! Last Sunday, I had a nice chat with a woman
guest who worked at Tung-Sol in the late 50's/early
60's. She was in the marketing department. She still
carries around a cute little Tung-Sol tape measure.

She was disappointed that there was no Tung-Sol tube
in our 30's display case. I'll have to see what I can
dig up.

That's the fascinating thing about the museum --
everyone sees something different. Other than that,
she and her friend really liked the museum.

I realize this was off-topic, but I wanted to share
it.

Regards,

John
