[NJARC] meeting location

Hi Gang,

John Ruccolo is pretty much on target. But there is a more important
issue here.

The Sarnoff center is a wonderful place to meet and Alex is a great
host, but we will never own anything there. It is owned by a large
corporation. The museum and library are also owned by them. There is
very little that we can contribute to their mission.

Infoage on the other hand is ours. We are building it and making it
go. And we are learning as we go and making "something" from
nothing. In a few years we might have it looking as nice as the
Sarnoff center; I sure hope so.

So brothers and sisters, tighten your belts, endure a longer commute
(for some), and enjoy - no - be proud of what we are creating
there. It is so much more than what was hoped for, way back when we
were meeting in Freehold. Most of us would have been happy with a
small house or large garage to get a museum started back then. I
remember many of us promising each other that we would loan parts of
our collections to make "something" of a museum if we could just find
a way to get a building.

Look at what we have now, and think about what it can become in the
future. Let's do it and do it up right.
