[NJARC] Great clinic!

I'd like to thank all the experts and club members who packed the Sarnoff Corporation Lounge on
Saturday. Grizzled club veterans can scoff, but I've never seen it so full of people and equipment
and radios, and hopefully Marv or someone took the photos I couldn't. Phil told me that there was a
fair amount of walk-in "business" on top of the appointments, but it looked like more than a few
members made big gains on bringing some of their holdings up to working order.

A couple of housekeeping requests for future clinics:

Sarnoff Corporation is going to begin holding its board meetings there, which will require a higher
level of cleanliness. So please police your floor area when you pack your things and head home. I
spent about 15 minutes collecting bits and pieces of wiring, screws, and especially solder wire from
the floor, in particular from around one table seat near the windows.

As a result of the board meeting relocation, hopefully the first stall toilet will be flushing in
good order by the next clinic, much less meeting. But whoever corked the last stall should drink
more water during the week, and save me and the cleaning crew much aggravation (and no, I don't need
an apology offline:).

Regarding John D's suggestion that the club relocate meetings to InfoAge, I have never entirely
disagreed and have expected such a transition with InfoAge's growth. You all have done a
magnificent and amazing job of renovating and improving Camp Evans over the past, what, five to
seven years, and deserve to reap the benefits of using another historic and well-appointed location
that is more convenient for many club members. But having two historic locations to enjoy is better
than one, and another reason that the New Jersey Antique Radio Club is second to none.

Best,

Alex
